Hamilton wins GP France!

Lewis Hamilton drove an absolute spotless race and was able to convert his pole position into a victory for the Mercedes team! Verstappen took second position and Ferrari's Raikkonen third.

What an exciting race today on the circuit of Paul Ricard. After the lights went out there was total chaos in the first turn. Vettel jammed his breaks sliding into Bottas. Both had to find the pits, Vettel needed a new front wing and Bottas had a flat tyre.

Pierre Gasly lost the rear of his Toro Rosso and slid into Esteban Ocon putting both drivers out of their home Grand Prix in the first lap. A safety car was called into action due to the carbon debree that was laying on the track.

After the restart both Vettel and Bottas were able to get through the traffic quite quickly. While the front of the field was on cruising speed.

At the end of the race Ricciardo's tyre have degraded alot more than the man behind him, Kimi Raikkonen. Ricciardo defends but is unable to keep Raikkonen behind him when the fin deploys his DRS.

In the last few laps Lance stroll pushed his tyres over the limit resulting in one tyre to explode forcing him to retire.

An exciting race to watch with a deserved victory for Hamilton!
