Hamilton Hosts F1 Drivers Dinner in Abu Dhabi

As per tradition, Lewis Hamilton invited his colleagues for a meal during the final Grand Prix weekend of the year in Abu Dhabi. Each year, (almost) all Formula 1 drivers from the current grid gather to dine together before the season concludes. Max Verstappen and his two McLaren title rivals, Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, were also present.

Many of the drivers present shared the group photo on their social media after the event. Notably absent were Fernando Alonso, Lance Stroll, and Nico Hülkenberg. However, this did not dampen the spirits of the McLaren drivers. Lando Norris captioned his post of the photo: “Traditions (no food was thrown during this dinner)”, while Oscar Piastri humorously noted that the photo was visible on almost every driver’s social media channels: “In case you don’t follow the other nineteen (drivers)”.

Gratitude

Lewis Hamilton primarily expressed his gratitude for being able to stand on the grid with these drivers. “We are the only people in the world who do what we do, and we are incredibly fortunate,” the British driver began on his own Instagram channel. “I am immensely grateful for this group of drivers and the privilege of racing against them. Even though we are rivals, there is nothing but respect, and I am proud to call them my friends. We hope to give you one last great race this season.”Apologies for the confusion, but there seems to be a mistake.
