Automotive giant Audi is set to unveil the first images of its new F1 car on Wednesday. During a special event in Munich, the German racing team will reveal at least the color scheme of the future vehicle. From 2026, Audi will fully take over the current Sauber team and transform it into its own factory team. Drivers Nico Hülkenberg and Gabriel Bortoleto will be using an Audi power unit.

On Wednesday, November 12, at 20:00 UTC, Audi will release the first images of its Formula 1 car. Sauber currently operates as the Stake F1 Team, recognizable by its bright green color scheme. However, from 2026, the racing team will have a completely new identity under the Audi banner. On Wednesday evening, it will become clear in which colors the Germans want to shape their future in Formula 1. The actual car will not be unveiled until January, ahead of the first winter tests.

Audi officially took over the Swiss Sauber earlier this year. With the support of Qatar’s state investment fund, the brand will appear on the grid in 2026. In fintech company Revolut and clothing giant Adidas, Audi has already found two leading partners. With its own power unit and full factory support, the brand aims to quickly compete with the established names in Formula 1.
