Max Verstappen and Red Bull Partner with EA Sports for Enhanced F1 Gaming Experience

Reigning world champion Max Verstappen and Red Bull have inked a new sponsorship deal with gaming giant EA Sports. This American behemoth in the video game industry is responsible for the F1 series, a collection of games based on Formula 1. Red Bull Racing and Max Verstappen announced on Tuesday that EA Sports is now an official sponsor.

“Red Bull Racing is ready for the next level,” reads the official press release. “The team, along with Max Verstappen, will collaborate with EA Sports, the leader in interactive sports entertainment software and the creator of the Formula 1 game.” According to the report, EA Sports chose Red Bull because they attract more young fans to the sport than other teams.

Team Boss Christian Horner on the Gaming Industry’s Role in Sports

Team boss Christian Horner believes that the gaming industry plays an increasingly significant role in sports. “For many fans, gaming is central to how they engage with racing and with Red Bull,” he responded. “We are therefore pleased to welcome EA Sports as a partner.”

Max Verstappen’s Role in the New Sponsorship Deal

Max Verstappen will be involved in the rollout of the latest edition in the Formula 1 game series, F1 24. “Max is known worldwide as a passionate sim racer,” the press release continues. “He will wear the EA Sports logo on his helmet throughout the season. In addition, he will introduce several helmet designs based on the video game during key Grands Prix.”
